We collect: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, and bio when you register. We collect ID verification data (passport or driving licence image and extracted details) when you complete identity verification. We collect your location when you use the app to show activities near you. We collect activity posts, swipes, matches and messages you create within the app.
We use your data to: verify your identity and age, match you with other verified users nearby, enable you to post and discover activities, facilitate communication between matched users, keep the platform safe and prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations.
Identity verification is performed by our partner Didit (didit.me). Your ID document images are processed by Didit and are not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary for the verification decision. Verification data is retained for up to 7 years for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes.
We use your location to show activities near you and to show your approximate area to other users. We never share your exact location with other users. Your location is stored securely and is only used within the app.
We share your data with: Didit for identity verification, GetOTP for phone number verification, and cloud infrastructure providers. We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share data with law enforcement if required by law.
Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data (right to erasure), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@actyve.app or use the Request My Data feature in the app.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
The Actyve app does not use cookies. Our website (actyve.app) may use essential cookies for functionality.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Actyve after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
